About a couple of month’s ago my partner pulled out a stray piece of my art, out of our storage unit and…
…when she showed me, i was taken aback ‘cause i had totally forgotten about this unfinished piece. It was an old pen and ink (black + white) i had started way back in 1988 and somehow, never got back to completing it…. and, who knows why?
That was 36 years ago and i would have been 29… 😳 That was during the time i had my screen-printing + graphic design business for eight years in North Vancouver. (Women’s Work Screen Print & Design Studio)
I used to call these doodles my ‘holy doodles’ and had rendered quite a few of them… mostly gave them away to friends as gifts.
So, i decided to colour it to finally complete after all these years… I still have a few touch-ups to do, so it’s almost done.
Plus, i decided to honour my dear mum + dad (rip) and added them in… Can you find them? Hint… they are in separate locations doing what they loved to do… have fun searching! Soon it will be my dear mum’s year anniversary of her passing April 2nd… dear dad passed three months later June 25th.
Wow… time sure flies eh? Hard to believe… … …
I had a lot of fun working on this again and it feels so good to have it done! Mum and dad would have loved it too.
Thinking further, i may make this into a small poster, so let me know if you’d be interested in obtaining a print.. this original is 11 x 12-inches on card stock in pen + ink and watercolour on card and i had a load of fun working on this one.
Stay tuned for more! much love + light, weaver xo (((💚)))
below, some short video + photos below that, showing some detail…

What a terrific depiction of a festival...and love the wee figures, each with their own body language.
I love this Carol! I would be interested in buying a print of it!
